This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
This piece was done to honor the magical workings of my good friend Chris is a very talented and creative artist and writer. So anyway, cheers to Chris!!!
I first began experimenting with digital art back in the early 80's. I used Commodore (8 BIT) computers and very simplistic software. All of the art I did back then was pixel art. I later purchased an Amiga (16 BIT) computer and continued my venture with a lot more colors, resolution and a lot more powerful and versatile software. The Amiga was the first platform on which I experimented with 3D modeling and raytracing, I was utterly fascinated with the possibilities and versatility computer graphics and design has to offer. Not too long after that, I started using PCs. As technology has progressed and evolved, so too have my skills and my passion for art has increased tenfold since the beginning. I find inspiration from everything and everyone around me and love to examine other people's work; not to critique it, but to absorb it and enjoy it. I don't accept criticisms of my work very well because I believe that art is an expression of one's inner self and should not conform to any particular model or standard of what art should be. My work continuously evolves as I see fit. I do not tend to stick with any particular genre or style of art because each style represents a particular personal emotion, thought process, or experience. We all interpret the world around us slightly differently and that's what makes our particular mode of expression unique; as we are all unique individuals.

Thanks for faving my work Don! I really appreciate it. Not only does it give me valued statistics about which pieces people prefer the most, but also it revs me up to do more artwork for my friends!
It is with great pleasure that I support your beautiful and creative work, friend! Yes, feedback is essential to growth and helps us to stay in tune. I agree, when I don't get the right feedback, it can discourage me and I may stop for a while. On the other hand, when the feedback is positive, I want to continue on.
